Welcome to Outdoor Sports Shop Scuba & Kayak Center!
Our specialties are scuba diving, snorkeling, and kayaking. We are dedicated to helping others enjoy these amazing activities while providing the best customer service possible.
At Outdoor Sports Shop Scuba & Kayak Center,
we have been training scuba divers and snorkelers for
over 20 years, and
have been kayaking for nearly as long. We understand how important it is to provide
opportunities
for new and experienced divers to stay active, and for kayakers to have the right
kayak for the paddler, as well the area.
We have a number of programs in place
like our Scuba Skills Review, and in water kayak demos to help
you. These programs are listed below and throughout our web site so check
them out and contact us for details. We are happy to help.
We can also help you plan and book your dive or kayak vacation! Our Dive Travel Coordinators Leigh & Fred take several tropical destination dive trips a year. They know what it takes to get the most out of your vacation. If you want to stay closer to home, head up to the St. Lawrence River with us for some outstanding wreck diving.
If you are already a certified diver we can provide you with air fills, visual inspections, hydrostatic testing, service, equipment, dive accessories and more. Maybe you've been thinking about some advanced training or specialty classes. We can provide these as well.

Why are we not open any evenings?"
We do a lot of training classes in the evenings. We have had in store evening hours in the past and found that people very rarely came by at night. Our policy is that you can contact us 7 days a week at almost any hour to make an appointment to come in at a time that is convenient for you and get the personal service you deserve. If our posted in store hours are not convenient for you then we will meet you outside of these hours. This allows us to teach the classes at night which is when most people want them. Since people are so connected these days with cell phones and email, we can provide more efficient service this way.
We are located where we are for a reason and that is why we are still here when others have closed. The dive industry has had to adjust to the changing times as well as other things over the years, like educating our customers about internet equipment sales. Our goal is to promote scuba and kayaking while providing the best possible customer service.
